Silvermist.

She's my interpretation of Disney's fairy of the same name! :D

Honestly, I don't know what it is about Silvermist. When I was pregnant and knew my daughter's name was going to be Fae, I always pictured her faery to be Fawn, who's wild haired and cute. But Silvermist just seems to draw my attention. Take it as an opposite attraction to water; my element is fire (thank you Aries!).

She was really fun to develop and play with, even though I spent forever on her bottom half and I didn't even show it! :P

Rendered in DS4 Pro, using A4 (can you believe it!?), with post work in PS.

Beautiful. Love the flowing hair and the wings that seem to vanish into water. Fantastic colour scheme, and scene composition.

Very pretty! Nice touch with the nose ring and chain, I wouldn't have thought of that kind of jewelry. She's my favorite fairy (could be too I'm the opposite, I'm drawn to water - I have a water sign, Pisces ;)

Ah, thank you! I'm glad you noticed the nose ring. ;) Since she's a little bit more lifelike, I thought: What the hell? Who says she has to wear a blue flower petal dress and nothing else!?

I think I might do more updated Disney fairies. :D
